Q: How long do they take to apply?
A: Most sets can be applied in around 10–15 minutes once you've got the hang of it. No painting, drying time or salon appointment required.
Q: How do I apply them?
A: It’s simple:

Q: Do I need a UV or LED lamp?
A: Yes. Semi-cured gel wraps need to be fully cured after application. Use a compatible nail lamp and follow the curing instructions supplied with your wraps.

A: Yes. Unlike ordinary nail stickers, semi-cured wraps contain real gel that remains flexible during application and hardens when cured.

Q: Can I use them on long natural nails?
A: Yes. As long as the wrap adequately covers the nail and is applied and cured correctly, they can be worn on longer natural nails too.
Q: Why are my wraps lifting?
A: Lifting is usually caused by oils or moisture on the nail, the wrap touching the cuticle or surrounding skin, or insufficient adhesion around the edges. Thorough nail prep and careful sizing are key to longer wear.
Q: How can I make my set last longer?
A: Start with completely clean, dry nails and avoid applying the wrap over your cuticles or skin. Press down firmly around the edges and cure according to the instructions. Avoid prolonged water exposure immediately after application.
Q: Can I shower and wash my hands while wearing them?
A: Yes. Once your wraps are properly applied and fully cured, you can go about normal everyday activities. For best results, avoid prolonged exposure to water immediately after applying your set.
Q: Can I wear them on holiday?
A: Of course. They're a great option when you want a glossy manicure without worrying about packing bottles of polish. As with any manicure, swimming, sunscreen, oils and prolonged water exposure can affect wear time.
Q: Will they chip?
A: The cured gel creates a durable finish designed for everyday wear. However, no manicure is completely chip-proof, and wear will depend on application and how much stress your nails are exposed to.
Q: How do I remove semi-cured gel wraps?
A: Don't peel or force them off. Follow The Gel Edit removal instructions and gently loosen the wrap using the recommended removal method, working slowly from the edge until it releases.
Q: Will removal damage my natural nails?
A: Correct removal is important. Avoid pulling or peeling the wraps from the nail, as this can remove layers of the natural nail. Gentle removal following our instructions helps minimise the risk of damage.
Q: Can I reuse the wraps?
A: No. Once a wrap has been applied, cured and removed, it shouldn't be reused.
Q: How should I store unused wraps?
A: Keep unused wraps sealed in their original packaging and away from sunlight and UV/LED exposure. Light can begin curing the gel, which may make the wraps hard or unusable.
