It's As Easy As...
PEEL
Choose the wrap that best fits your nail and gently peel it from the backing sheet.
STICK
Place the wrap onto your clean, prepared nail, leaving a tiny gap around the cuticle. Press firmly and smooth towards the edges.
CURE
Fold the excess over the tip of your nail, then cure under your UV LED lamp to harden the gel and lock in that glossy finish.
FILE
File away the excess using downward strokes for a clean, seamless edge.

Before You Apply
A little prep makes a big difference.
Start with clean, completely dry nails. Gently push back your cuticles and make sure there is no oil, moisturiser or residue on the nail plate.
Choose a wrap that's slightly narrower than your natural nail rather than one that overlaps onto your skin or cuticle.
Good prep helps your Gel Edit last as long as possible.
The Secret To A Seamless Finish
Size it right
Your wrap should cover your nail without touching the surrounding skin.
Keep your cuticles clear
Leave a small gap between the wrap and your cuticle. Applying over skin can cause lifting.
Smooth from the centre out
Press the wrap firmly onto the nail, smoothing towards the edges to remove any creases or air pockets.
File down, not side-to-side
Once cured, use gentle downward strokes to remove the excess and create a clean edge.

Do I need a UV lamp?
Yes. The wraps need to be cured under a UV LED lamp to fully harden. If you're new to The Gel Edit, our Starter Kit includes a lamp.
How long does application take?
Once you've got the hang of it, a full set can be applied in around 10 minutes.
How long do they last?
With good nail prep and correct application, your Gel Edit can last up to 3 weeks.
What if a wrap doesn't fit my nail exactly?
Choose the size that's slightly narrower than your nail rather than allowing the wrap to overlap onto your skin.
Can I cut the wraps?
Yes. You can trim and shape the wraps to better suit your nail before curing if needed.
